Together with AT&T, WarnerMedia and community partners nationwide, Ghetto Film School Film Credits is shining the light on young people everywhere responding creatively to this moment. They are asking young people across the nation: How Does It Feel to Be Connected, RIGHT NOW?
Ghetto Film School Film Credits is a short film challenge for youth, ages 14-21. The purpose of this challenge is to build and shine the light on your skills as a storyteller because storytelling is a powerful tool to RAISE YOUR VOICE, DEFINE A MOMENT and CONNECT COMMUNITIES!
Invent a metaphor that expresses your feelings of connection right now! Write a short brief story (no more than 500 words) that has a beginning, middle and end, based on your metaphor.
Using your smartphone or any device of choice, shoot a short film up to 3 minutes based on your story. (TikToks, animation, documentary, PSA’s, scripted, all forms welcome!)
